  • "I contacted Rachel before making the purchase to ask whether the cake could be made nut-free as well as gluten-free, as my husband is coeliac and has a nut allergy. She confirmed this was possible and asked me to let her know when I placed the order so she could take extra care. The cake arrived a few days before Christmas, very well wrapped, and was stored as instructed until Christmas Eve. When we opened it, it looked perfect, and after the first bite we knew it wouldn't last long. It had the ideal consistency and was packed with fruit. We enjoyed it with Snowdonia Extra Mature Cheddar and Yorkshire Wensleydale, and it was delicious. My husband, who has wanted a proper fruit cake for years, was absolutely delighted. We will certainly be buying again."
